Helping Humans & Brewing Community
Community work has been part of our DNA for over a decade. Beer for Humans is how we use what we do best (brewing beer) to spotlight the work happening in the communities we serve. Through cause-based beers, pint nights, in-kind donations, volunteer hours, emergency relief, event partnerships, and local membership engagement, Beer for Humans is about building partnerships with purpose.
Taproom Pint Nights
Each month, we highlight local nonprofit organizations brewing positive change. Our Beer for Humans partners receive social media promotion, a custom poster, a collection box, and a dedicated Wednesday night (5-8 PM). At the end of the month, each nonprofit receives a donation plus any cash collected in their dropbox. It’s a chance to engage with our guests, share your mission, and gather support.

The Impact
Rhinegeist partners with roughly 300 organizations per year. Each partnership varies in scope, but every one of them starts with a shared belief that beer can bring people together for good.

What is Beer for Humans?
Beer for Humans is both a beer (an Easy Hop Ale) and the face of our community giving program. It’s how we use brewing to spotlight the people and organizations doing good work around us.
How can my organization get involved?
Apply through our application page. Each month, we feature local nonprofit partners for Pint Nights and other support. Partners receive social media promotion, a custom poster, a collection box, a dedicated Wednesday evening, and a donation.
What are the eligibility requirements?
Organizations must have 501(c)(3) status and align with our Pillars of Giving. We do not donate to organizations with religious purposes (unless for secular community programs), teams, universities, private institutions, political organizations, individual campaigns, or capital campaigns.
How many organizations do you partner with each year?
Roughly 300, with each partnership varying in scope.
Are partnerships limited to the Cincinnati area?
No. Pint Nights are limited to regionally based organizations, but we work with accounts in other markets to host community support events. Reach out to community@rhinegeist.com to bring a program to your area.
