What makes Rhinegeist different from other event venues?
Every event gets a dedicated coordinator who handles the details from booking through the day of. Our team works with you on layout, catering, bar service, and anything else that comes up. The space is the backdrop, but the service is what makes it work.
What happens during a venue tour?
Rhinegeist celebrates Over-the-Rhine’s & Downtown Cincinnati’s rich history, and our venues offer an extension of those historic characteristics. Each space has its own personality and is designed to give you the flexibility to decorate the space to your liking, even if that means keeping it simple! Your touring coordinator will take you through each of the requested spaces, and will provide a clear understanding of what can be expected on the day of your event, from amenities to caterers, and even parking. Once you’re finished with the tour, we recommend placing a hold on the space you loved most to guarantee its availability when you’re ready to book. Mock invoices and additional information always available upon request.
What do I need to book a date?
A signed contract and non-refundable deposit are required to officially book a date and space for your wedding or private event.
What is the cancellation policy?
The deposit is non-refundable and there is a tiered cancellation system in place based on how far out the canceled event is. Generally, the fee is equal to the remaining rental fee due, in addition to a percentage of the beverage minimum.
Cancellation 9 Months to 12 Months Prior to Event – Cancellation Fee Equal to the Remaining Rental Fee plus 25% of the Minimum Spend.
Cancellation 6 Months to 9 Months Prior to Event – Cancellation Fee Equal to the Remaining Rental Fee plus 50% of the Minimum Spend.
Cancellation 2 Months to 6 Months Prior to Event – Cancellation Fee Equal to the Remaining Rental Fee plus 75% of the Minimum Spend.
Cancellation Less than 2 Months Prior to Event – Cancellation Fee Equal to the Remaining Rental Fee plus 100% of the Minimum Spend.
Where do guests park?
Rhinegeist has a small public lot across the street, that is first come first served. There are also several paid parking options in the area. You can find our parking map here. We also offer valet parking as an add on service. Quotes are available upon request.
Are the event spaces accessible?
Yes, all of our private spaces have elevator access and are ADA compliant.
