Marie is an Imperial Rice IPA brewed in memory of Marie S. Nemier — Rhinegeist engineer Mike Nemier’s wife of 25 years — who we lost in late 2017. An international rock star in the atomic energy community, Marie led a fascinating and celebrated life. She was a cat fanatic, a grand prix motorcycle racing guru, a talented cook and craftsman, and a punk rock maniac. This beer was inspired by Russian River’s Pliny the Elder — Marie’s Double IPA of choice — and dons the color purple, her favorite hue. We will miss her dearly. Marie is a limited, draft-only release.

Malts: 2-row, Rice, Light Crystal
