Lovely amber color with the expected malt forward aroma. Toffee and caramel notes on the nose flow into similar malty, nutty flavors. Reminiscent of a tootsie roll.

Altbier: (German: old beer) is a style of beer from Düsseldorf, Germany. It is an amber, malt-forward, clean and crisp tasting, light-bodied style. The "old" part of the name comes from it being an ale, an older type of brewing than the more common German lager beers.

Hops: Huell Melon, Hallertau Mittlefruh

Malts: Ohio Munich, Pilsner, Vienna, Caramel 60, Carafa III
