Stryker in Cans

Hop Heads rejoice: a familiar face is back, this time in CANS!

Stryker (9.3% | 100+ IBU), our electrically hoppy Imperial IPA, is making its citrusy, dank debut in 4 packs this year. A recipe from the mind of our Lead Brewer Aaron Stryker, this brew isn't stingy with hops, while remaining surprisingly friendly to the palate. This is a limited release first available in cans and on draft in our taproom today (5/25) at 3pm.

Metaphysical Mango

Good news in the beer sphere for the sour savants, as well: our second Outer Reaches Sour Ales release, Metaphysical Mango (6.75%), is out in the ether!

The first fruited sour in the Outer Reaches series, Metaphysical Mango spent two months in an oak foeder, undergoing secondary fermentation and acidification with Lactobacillus and our house Brettanomyces. Then, it rested with ripe mangoes for eight months, adopting its tastefully tart, fruit-forward persona.

Metaphysical Mango is available in 500ml bottles at select purveyors, but don't dally — very limited quantities are available. A full Beer Review of Metaphysical Mango is available here.

Dino Days

In case you missed it, there is a 50-foot, 150-million-year-old Galeamopus skeleton currently resting its bones in our taproom. We celebrated the unveiling of the dino at Jurassic Geist on May 15th (National Dinosaur Day), a day of fun led by Cincinnati Museum Center personnel, paired with the release of Brittlebrain (8.6% | 22 IBU), our Belgian Style Golden Strong Ale brewed to commemorate the event.

If you weren't able to make it to Jurassic Geist, pop by a screening of The Land Before Time that we are co-hosting at Washington Park on 6/6, or CMC's upcoming CuroCity Series: Back from Extinction event at the brewery on 6/21.
