What is Beer For Humans?
For the ten years that Rhinegeist has been a company, community work has been a part of what we do. We believe that beer brings people together and have regularly used the brewery to facilitate this work. Beer for Humans is the next step in our ladder of community support, using what we do best (brew beer) to spotlight the incredible work happening in the communities that we serve. That’s why we’re introducing Beer for Humans—both a beer and the face of our charitable giving program! This Easy Hop Ale provides a platform to highlight great humans doing great things.

Currently, Rhinegeist donates to approximately 300 organizations per year, with each partnership varying in scope. Through Beer for Humans Pint Nights, in-kind donations, volunteer hours, emergency relief, DEI initiatives, event partnerships, and local membership engagement, we work to build partnerships with purpose.

How can I get involved?
Interested in participating in a Beer for Humans? Each month, Rhinegeist highlights local non-profit organizations brewing positive change in the communities we serve.

Every Wednesday in our Cincinnati Taproom from 5-8pm, receive a token with each pint purchase, explore the featured organizations, and vote for your non-profit of choice by placing a token in their designated drop-box! At the end of the month, each organization receives a donation based upon the amount of “votes” they receive, while the organization with the most votes receives a bonus. So grab your pals, grab a pint, and sip for a cause! The application for our 2023 cycle can be found here.

Not based in the Cincinnati region, but want to get involved in Beer for Humans initiatives in your community? Reach out to community@rhinegeist.com to learn about ways that we are able to partner in your area.

Are supported organizations only in Ohio?
No! While our Pint Nights are limited to regionally based organizations, we regularly work to partner with accounts in your area to host charitable events and meet the needs of those in outside markets. Interested in bringing a program to your area? Reach out to community@rhinegeist.com
