Cheetah in the Brewery: Newsletter 3/22/17

Bringing the Zoo to You

On March 30th, we're teaming up with the Cincinnati Zoo for Zoogeist, a free, fundraising event benefitting the zoo's Living Access Classroom Education Fund. We'll have an array of animals in the taproom, as well as a jam-packed raffle and a splendid selection of specialty suds, including Honey Ginger Cougar!

VIP ticket holders (sold out!) will have access to our Annex space, where they'll get to hang with a cheetah from the zoo's Cat Ambassador program! VIPs will also have private bar access and will receive a commemorative pint glass and beer/raffle tickets. For more info, hop over to the official event page.

(Re)-Introducing Hustle

Hustle (4.8%, 17 IBU) slid back into our can lineup on 3/20 with a new style and a new look.

Now a Red Lager, Hustle is super drinkable, offering light floral and fruity hop notes with some biscuity malt flavor. Hustle pours a lovely amber-red and is a beer we believe is built for 90 degree days at the ball park. We encourage you to test that theory.

For more on Hustle, check out a Beer Review from our Chief Science Officer Jim Matt.

Batter Up!

Baseball season is upon us and we're getting into the swing of things here at Rhinegeist with two kickass events to celebrate the return of America's favorite pastime:

Home Run Derby: This Sunday, March 26th, the 3rd Annual Home Run Derby for a Cause lands in the taproom, benefitting the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati. $10 gets you 10 swings, with the top three batters going home with a slew of awesome prizes. The competition is open to the public and all ages are encouraged to participate. For all the juicy details, cruise over to our Facebook event page.

Opening Day: We're celebrating the start of the Cincinnati Reds' 2017 season with a rocking Monday morning party. Doors — and, weather permitting, our rooftop! — will open at 9am, with Beermosas and Cidermosas on deck. Nada will be on-hand serving up baller breakfast tacos to get you fueled up before first pitch, and we'll have free shuttle service to the ballpark every 30 minutes. For more, visit our official event page.

Go Reds!
