Mushhushshu (11.3%), our Dark Ale Blend with Coffee, Chocolate & Vanilla, emerges after a 10-month stint in New Riff bourbon barrels. This wood-mellowed chimera debuts tonight in the taproom in a guided tasting. Our Barrel Masters will talk shop alongside the good folks from New Riff, sampling Mushhushshu and waxing poetic on all things barrel-aged. Full details available on the event page.

Brewcademy

In the next session of Brewcademy, we’ll spend some time getting up-close and personal with the raw materials of brewing: malt, hops, yeast and, of course, water. What transforms this relatively simple list of ingredients into liquid alchemy?

We’ll taste individual malt varietals and roast levels, sniff aromatic hops, and match specific ingredients to the beers that represent them. Reservations can be made through the event page.

Tropical Disco

The illustrious, illuminated Tropical Disco returns tomorrow night. Break out your blacklight-friendly Bermuda shorts and neon lei for a lively luau-style dance party featuring rotating DJ sets, face painting, an interstellar slate of brews, and a custom Little Bubs cocktail.
